How to Properly Clean Your Chassis Armor Spray Gun?

Dec 01,2022 / BY DEVELOPERS
Getting your Pneumatic Air Spray Guns in tip-top shape is essential to maintaining its effectiveness. Fortunately, there are many ways to do this. The first step is to clean it properly. If you can get the gun to a good state, you will find it easier to use and less likely to develop problems. The second step is to reduce the amount of solvents you use.
Clean the gun
Whether you're painting your car or truck or just need to refinish the chassis armor, it's important to clean your chassis armor spray gun. This will help keep your HVLP Water-based Paint Spray Guns working like new and help prevent it from getting damaged.
First, you'll want to remove the paint cup from the chassis armor spray gun. Place the cup in a bath of thinner and turn the fluid nozzle counterclockwise until it is free from the paint. If there are small pieces of paint in the thinner, you'll want to clean them off with a Q-tip. If you don't have a Q-tip, you can use an old toothbrush. You should also clean the gaskets in your paint gun. The gaskets are usually located on the back of your paint gun. You can also use a toothbrush to clean the paint from hard to reach places.
After you've cleaned the paint gun, rinse it with water and then dry it completely. This will ensure that you're prepared to start painting with it. Then, reassemble the paint gun and lubricate the moving parts.
