The air spray gun factory tells everyone to clean the nozzle with a spray gun brush and solvent, and wipe the outside of the gun body with a cloth soaked in thinner, taking care to wipe off all traces of paint. Do not immerse the entire gun body directly in the cleaning solution, as this will expand the sealing ring and destroy the lubrication effect. If the spray gun is not cleaned immediately after use, the nozzles can become partially or completely blocked, resulting in uneven spray atomization or the wrong spray pattern. This is especially true for additive enamels. The enamel will harden in the gun if it is not cleaned immediately after use.
